Wedding planning at often times are stressful and consume a lot of the parties time involved. Do It Yourself (DIY) is a popular way to go especially when on a tight budget, but its not for everyone plus some of us do not always get to bring our vision and planning to fruition.

Stress free wedding is a term that seems easier said than done......but it is possible. Below is a list of ideas on how to have stress free wedding day.

1. Hire a wedding planner/coordinator - An experience coordinator should allow for a stress free wedding planning and wedding day execution. Their job is to deal with vendors and the venue, also handling all minuscule details so that you may enjoy the time leading up to your big day as well as the wedding day stress free.

2. Hire a day-of wedding coordinator - On the special day having a coordinator to ensure things go smoothly is a big plus. A day coordinator will ensure that all details will be handle on the actual day it alleviates the stress of doing it all, eliminating you from being a staff rather than the guest of honor..

3. You cannot control everything - With an outdoor event, its a possibility to experience change of weather. Be prepare in advance, an extra tent for wind and rain or fans to move air around for a heat wave. Being prepared allows for unforeseen incidents and reduce stress.

4. Allow venue staff to do their job - After booking your venue leave it to the professionals to pull your theme and ideas together. Do not waste time checking- in. Chances are you will become stress, seeing things half way completed, trust in the staff and you will be happier seeing the end result.

5. Spend some alone time with your new husband - It is important to enjoy the moment within the moment. Carve out some alone time with your husband. One alone time that do not affect missing-out from the event is right after the ceremony before the reception. It can be done while driving to the reception during which you can spend some time alone with very little interruption. If the ceremony and reception is at the same place a bit of alone time can be done in a private room before joining your guests at the reception.

6. Enjoy your day! - Its you and your husband day, relax and enjoy him, your guests and the party. If all is not perfect.....that's okay. Its Your Day!
